More than parking
For many households, the garage is the front door. You walk through it with groceries, kids, sports gear and wet umbrellas. It is also storage, a workshop, a gym and the place the EV charges overnight. A bare concrete floor creates dust that gets tracked inside, absorbs every drip and never looks clean. An epoxy floor seals the surface so dirt sweeps away, spills wipe up and the room looks like part of the house.
Hillside homes and steep drives
Many homes sit on slopes, so cars come into the garage on steep driveways carrying rainwater, grit and fir needles. That water collects at the threshold and is the first place a weak coating fails. We grind and repair the door edge carefully, use UV-stable and flexible topcoats in that zone and add texture so the floor stays safe when it is wet.
Townhomes and tuck-under garages
Townhome garages are often tight, with shared walls and an HOA that sets work hours. We bring compact equipment, use dust collection and low-odor products and keep shared drives clear. If your association needs product data or a scope of work, we provide it.
Our system
- Moisture and contamination testing.
- Diamond grinding with dust collection.
- Crack, joint and spall repair.
- Epoxy primer and pigmented base coat.
- Optional flake broadcast.
- Polyaspartic or urethane topcoat.
EVs and hot tire pickup
Electric vehicles are heavy, and warm tires can soften thin coatings and lift them off the slab. That is why store-bought kits so often peel in tire paths. Our systems are bonded to ground concrete and built thicker, with topcoats designed to resist hot tire pickup. We can also coat neatly around a charger mounting area.
Colors for modern homes
Light gray, white and soft blends brighten garages with limited windows and suit contemporary homes. Charcoal and black blends look sharp and hide more dirt. Solid colors give a sleek look, while flake adds texture and grip. We bring samples so you can compare them in your own garage light.
Older garages
Mid-century and older homes may have garage slabs with oil stains, cracks, old paint and uneven areas. We degrease, grind off old coatings, patch damaged spots and level what we can before coating. Older slabs can look like new when the prep is done right.
Time and disruption
Most garages are completed in one to two days. With a polyaspartic topcoat, some can be done in a single day with light use that evening. Cars typically return within one to three days. We help you plan where to keep vehicles and belongings during the work.
Price factors
Size, slab condition, repairs, removal of existing coatings and the system you choose all affect price. Your written quote spells out each item so you can compare options clearly.
Care
Sweep or use a leaf blower to clear grit, rinse and squeegee as needed and clean spills with mild soap. Use mats under the car in the wettest months to catch water. Pads under bike stands and jacks protect the finish.
Storage and finishing touches
Many customers pair a new floor with wall systems, cabinets and overhead racks. Coating before cabinets go in is usually best, so the finish runs underneath. We coordinate with your cabinet installer and can add a matching cove or baseboard strip along walls for a polished look.
